Our Story
Originally founded by then high school senior Journee Murry, The Murry Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting both high school and university undergraduate students in pursuing their educational goals. Our mission is to help students access the resources they need to succeed, whether that’s taking extra academic courses, recovering credits, or enrolling in required classes that shape their future opportunities.
Today, under the continued leadership of CEO Journee Murry, the Foundation aims to expand its reach by hosting charity runs and walks across multiple U.S. cities, raising funds to empower students from all backgrounds to thrive academically and achieve their dreams.

Once a student submits an application for the Murry Scholarship, please allow up to three weeks to receive a decision from the Murry Scholarship Foundation's Board. The Murry Scholarship is offered to recipients in monthly rounds. Once a Murry Scholarship recipient, a second award will not be offered, but offered to the next student in the queue.
